DEVOTION TO MOTHER
Bayezid’s ailing mother wanted a glass of water to him. There was no water at home. Bayezid went to a distant fountain to fetch water. He came back with water and found his mother asleep. He did not awake her. Keeping a glass of water in hand, he stood still beside his mother’s bed. He was waiting for his mother’s awaking. But she was in sound sleep.
When it was dawn, Bayazid’s mother awake and discovered her son standing beside her bed with a glass of water in hand. She wondered for a moment. Then she could remember the fact, she could not control her tears anyway. She embraced her son with deep love and blessed him from the core of her heart.

বায়েজিদের অসুস্থ মা তার কাছে এক গ্লাস পানি চেয়েছিলেন। ঘরে কোনো পানি ছিল না।
বায়েজিদ পানি আনতে দূরে একটা ঝর্ণার কাছে গেল। সে পানি নিয়ে ফিরে এলো এবং দেখল
তার মা ঘুমিয়ে পড়েছে। সে তাকে জাগাল না। এক গ্লাস পানি তার হাতে নিয়ে, সে তার মায়ের বিছানার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে রইল। সে
তার মায়ের জেগে ওঠার জন্য। অপেক্ষায় রইল। তিনি ছিলেন গভীর ঘুমে আচ্ছন্ন। যখন ভোর
হল, বায়েজিদের মা জাগলেন এবং দেখতে পেলেন তার ছেলে
এক গ্লাস পানি হাতে নিয়ে তার বিছানার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে।তিনি কিছু সময়ের জন্য
বিস্মিত হলেন। তারপর তিনি ঘটনা মনে করতে পারলেন। তিনি কোনোভাবেই তার চোখের পানি
ধরে রাখতে পারলেন না। তিনি তার ছেলেকে গভীর ভালোবাসায় জড়িয়ে ধরলেন এবং তার
